Easy, Delicious, Crispy Falafel

This Falafel recipe is super simple and easy to make. The dry mix can be stored in an air tight container for easy meal prep.
Ingredients:
- 1 small package of dried garbanzo beans (chick peas)
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp chili powder (I prefer ancho chili powder)
- 2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
- Pulse dried garbanzo beans in food processor until the texture and consistency of flour
- mix in spices and baking powder, incorporate well
- Store in air tight container until ready to use
Falafel!
- Place 1 cup of dry mix into bowl
- add 1/2 cup of hot water and mix
- optionally add 2 Tbsp lemon juice and fresh parsley
- mix and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- shape into small discs or balls and pan fry in oil of your choice until golden and crispy
- serve with condiment of your choice
- Enjoy!
